MJ-02-04_s5
Most of these "MJ" seedlings were moved from pots just this spring so I expect they will all bloom much better next season. I had nearly 30 seedlings from various crosses in these lines, only 5 plants survived the very wet late winter - early spring we had this year. Some of the really nice ones were the ones to die from crown rot.
"MJ" are the initials of the person I got the seeds from and have nothing to do with parentage. I would have to check my archived records for that information, but if anyone is interested in knowing, please let me know.
New Images Posted
I've added a dozen or so new images from this past season's crop of maiden bloomers. These are all "full form" crosses. I have listed some with the parent plants "Garden Name", ie: "Pink Temptation", who is actually one of many lost tag seedlings I have from my first attempts at hybridizing. This particular seedling looked so much like the registered cultivar, 'White Temptation' when it had it's maiden bloom, the garden name seemed to fit nicely. The lost tag seedlings used are simply indicated by the initials "LT" and it's corresponding number as they were planted out in the seedling bed. I will see if I can get a few more of the SPUF seedling images posted in the next few days, so be sure to check back!
