I got seeds of Alice Lambertson X Destined to See, last year from MJ. So far have 6 plants growing. It is so neat seeing your plants on this blog. Gives me something to look forward too next spring. We had a couple of frosts but no hard freezes yet.

Since I wasn't familiar with AL I had to look it up! I see it as being somewhat similar to DTS, but with more ground color so the offspring from this cross should be very "colorful", to say the least. I would think there would able be a lot of "blue" show in the eye color of these offspring as well as on the edges. What other improvements show up in the seedlings is difficult for me to say, being so new at SPUF breeding, but I dare to say they should be interesting!

Hi Becca - I am so excited. I had written to Jim Murphy about "Thank you Mister Wizard" and was able to get one of the last plants he had for spring. I know it is lavender and green, but when you have these two colors you have the possibility of blue.

Now I am hunting for a mate for it. I like Clayton Burkey's UF's. Also he is from my area and his stuff should not die off during the winter. I really like Lola Branham but he notes that it takes 2-3 yrs. to become established.

Oh, I wanted to say before that I am not too familiar with blogs. If I am out of line talking about unrelated subjects, please let me know. Just a simple "that's not what we were talking about" will do it. LOL

I am happily planting your seeds and have my lights set up. Hope I live long enuff to see them bloom LOL ( I am 68 yrs.old). I even have their outside seedling bed all rotortilled up for next spring.

You lucky dabber! TYMW is on my "Wish List", along with perhaps 20 others! It may be a couple of years before you get to do a dabbing with it, but I think you will have fun working with it. I would look for reds, purples and lavenders to put with it, the skinnier the better and if they have a lot of movement, that's just more icing on the cake. Who knows you might get something from the seeds you've gotten from me to put with it!

You can post anything pertaining to daylilies here on the Blog. If you happen to get a double post, I'll remove one of them. I think we are the only ones p[posting comments and since it is my Blog I can make up the rules as I go! LOL!

Some day I will have a rebecca spider.

I learned today that I won 7 seeds of Trahlyta X Rebekahs Gothic Spider on The Lily Auction.

The spider is one of CindyTyrrell's new registrations but is not on the market yet. It is really nice looking. She has other crosses of it if you are interested - she goes by Lighthousegal (13).

Have three more sets of seeds ready to plant tomorrow. The moon is increasing so they should grow, LOL. 25 degrees outside this AM.

I actually looked at those seeds, no intention of bidding though as I have no idea where I will be plants the several hundred seeds I was planning on keeping!

I packed up 7 auctions today that will go in Monday's mail then there's 13 auctions ending today that will also be going out sometime in the next couple of weeks. Most all the bidders are repeat buyers and are waiting until the 11-14 auctions end to have me ship their seeds. Which is good as I need to get by the office supply store for more padded mailers!

Congrats on winning the "T X RGS" seeds, those will make some wonderful seedlings!
